While, SRK movie Dil Aashna Hai was not a successful one, SRK movie, Deewana made him a popular name in every home. Then came one of the blockbuster SRK movies Darr, where SRK played a negative role and his brilliant acting made him a star overnight. SRK started giving hit movies and it became a habit for him. It was the year 1996, when one of the blockbuster SRK movies and the longest running movie in the history of world cinema – Diwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge got released. SRK became ‘favourite’ actor of Yash Chopra and with this SRK movie, SRK’s height rose to a level where no one can ever reach.
